Dear Mrs Doherty, I believe that you should not bring lollies to school. Firstly, it can make you fat because of the sugar. Also you won’t be able to fit in the car to come to school. Secondly the lollies can get stuck in your throat if you are running with a lolly in your mouth. You may die because you won’t have enough food because of the lollies. Dear Mrs Doherty, I believe it would be a bad idea to have lollies at school even though the year fives and sixes say yes. Here are some reasons why I think this way. Firstly, if children eat too many lollies they will get rotten teeth which means you will have to wear false teeth. Secondly, if you eat too many lollies you will forget your learning and you won’t get a job. Thirdly, if you are running around with a lolly you will choke because they will get stuck in your throat. Written by Stacey Topic: Should we feed the ducks at Hobsonville Primary School? In my opinion ducks shouldn’t be here. They are here because the old caretaker used to leave food behind him when he walked around the school. Firstly, if you have food with glad wrap around it the ducks might choke or suffocate if you leave your rubbish on the ground. Secondly, if you shut the door and you don’t see that there is a duck down by the door, it might get a broken wing or a broken leg. Thirdly, ducks steal our food a lot when we are eating outside. Finally, if the ducks share your food, you might get sick if you eat it after them. Ducks shouldn’t be here!

Firstly, if you put wrapping on your sandwiches and the ducks eat it they will choke and die. Secondly, if we eat what they have bitten we will get duck germs and they will get sick. Thirdly, they come inside the classroom and when you scare them they just come back. Finally, ducks are just mean. Stop feeding the ducks at school.

Firstly, I would like to see a seal playing with a ball. I must teach the seal to clap. Secondly, the seal could teach me how to swim under the water in the swimming pool. I might ride on the seal. Another reason why is that I could ride the seal under the water to school. The seal would be very quiet in the classroom. Finally, when a seal was the swimming teacher, the children could swim. First of all, it might make a mess by going toilet and the cleaner might not be able to get it out. Secondly, they might get scared because they might not like it where they are. Should we have chickens in room 15? We should not have chickens in room 15. Firstly, it could break windows or other school property so we would get in trouble. Secondly, they are very noisy, way too silly and attract attention so we would have to stay in at lunch time because we wouldn’t get our work done.
