Cross Country Update
NORWEST CROSS COUNTRY
On Friday 22nd of August, our year 5/6 boys and our year 7/8 boys and girls competed at Norwest Interzone Cross Country Tournament. This was held at Woodhill Sand Centre.
The track was unbelievably rough and tough with enormous steep mountains winding with rocky sands. Our mighty Hobsonville students showed their RRAP values and eventually they all finished the incredibly hard race. Of our senior students Joshua Armitt and Zion Seong have qualified for the Auckland Cross Country Champs.
But all of our Hobsonville students participated and showed their great enthusiasm some finish 3rd and above (Brahm Richards 3rd Alex Walker 5th, Emma Clouden 5th).All of the students deserve a well done for their maturity, independence and organisation skills. This made everyone’s job easier. What young leaders we are developing.
