Y5/6 Netball Spring 2008

Nor-West Year 5/6 School’s Netball Tournament 

On the 18^th of September at Te Pai courts a team of 13 Year 5&6 students (5 boys & 8 girls) competed in the Nor-West school’s netball tournament. We played 8 games which we won. Then we competed against Massey in the semi finals and won by a close 3 points. When the finals came we played against Huapai and won by a lucky 5-7. Yay!!! The closest score difference was 2 points and our biggest score was 16/0. We were only allowed 2 boys to play on the court at a time which was a pain sometimes. We would like to thank the parents who transported and a big thanks to Mrs. Meek and Miss Mackay for coaching us and making this tournament happen and Mrs. Waru for refereeing.
