Y7/8 Orienteering
On Tuesday the 27th of May, Stacey Ahipene, Elisha Kirker, George Cunningham and Tyler Matthews represented the Norwest at the Auckland Orienteering Championships at Cornwall Park. Thanks to a lot of commitment and knowledge from Mr Matthews in the sport of orienteering, the earlier mentioned students flew the Hobsonville colours high and proved to display some exciting up and coming talent in the sport of orienteering. Tyler Matthews produced the fastest time coming in at 22m: 25s. Tyler was the 21st fastest Year Eight student in the wider Auckland area. Congratulations to those four students.
