Y7/8 Sporting Achievements for 2011
Y7/8 Norwest Softball: Congratulations to both the Boys and the Girls Y7/8 Softball teams for placing 3rd in the Norwest Softball Championships this term. A great effort by all and a terrific platform to build on for next year.
2011Soap Box Derby results: On Sunday 20th March, Team Hobby raced very well, with all four drivers Finley McLaren, James Hansen, Jack Davies and Cole Morrison withthe help of their well-organized pit crew: Joseph Ballour, Lucy Fenner and Brooke Calteux won all eight races combined. Unfortunately they finished outside the top 10 fastest times and weren’t able to qualify for the finals. However, it was a terrific day shared by all, especially the fantastic 10 cheerleaders that wowed the crowds with their entertaining cheers and choreography. In the final prize giving, Hobsonville School won THE MOST IMPRESSIVE SCHOOL prize. All 17 students involved yesterday represented Hobby extremely well and made me feel so proud to be amongst you. Mr Hill
