4          GENERAL

The school takes no responsibility for loss or damage to the children’s personal items, therefore we advise parents to “keep it simple”.  Old (or cheaper) clothes are preferable, and labelling of all items is essential.

If possible, please put a list of all items your child will bring to camp into their bag.  Then on the last day they can check off the list and ensure that everything they had on arrival, they have on departure.

Special note

All children will need a packed morning tea and lunch, and a drink in a refillable plastic bottle.

Rms 1, 2 and 3 – Monday

Rms 4, 5 and 6 – Wednesday

5          Leaving and return times:

On the Monday (Rms 1, 2 and 3) and on Wednesday (Rms 4, 5 and 6), your child will need to be at school by 8.45am, so that we can get away as soon as possible after 9am.   If the weather is fine, please leave your children’s items outside their classroom (on the asphalt) in clear rows.

Your child will return to school at approximately 2.30pm.  (Rms 1, 2 and 3 on Wednesday, and Rms 4, 5 and 6 on Friday.)  Gear will then be sorted and collected, and your child will be ready to be picked up by 3pm.

6          Groupings

Trash to Fashion group:  For the camp fashion parade, and other minor activities, the children will be divided into smaller groups from their activity group.

Sleeping arrangements:  Your children will be sleeping in boys and girls areas.

Activity groupings:  The children will be put in these groups.  There will be 11/12 children per group.

7          Parents coming over to Long Bay for the day:

All parents are welcome to visit Long Bay during the day.  Please make sure that you bring your own morning tea and lunch.
